Summary of your role

As senior Game artist you will be responsible for creating and implementing all the visual aspects of the game: art style, art creation, UI, FX, etc. You will make sure that production objectives meet in terms of time and quality. Act as fina point of contact from art deliveries toUnity Pipeline. Working hand in hand with your teammates, your role will be to create high quality art from start to finish, being as efficient and agile as possible; Within our team of talented artists, we expect you to continuously learn and improve your skills.

High Level Responsibilities

• Create final art assets of characters, environments, buttons, icons, objects, avatars, backgrounds and props based on Game Design and brainstorming sessions.

• Design marketing assets as splash game, Game Logo, game icons, posters, banners, screenshots and paint-overs.

• Understand the creative requirement and provide game animations or mock ups

• Actively participate in the game creation process by interacting with the game designer and creative lead.

• Meet the quality standards for the assets created in the development of Casual Game by satisfying the demands of an aggressive delivery cadence

• Collaborate with the Art Director and Lead artist to align on a process for creative executions.

• Understand and implement feedback from the art Lead / Director by making appropriate changes to the artwork you’ve produced

• Maintain a close working relationship with your other art team members, direct manager, designers,producers, engineers and other teams to ship the project.

• Effectively contributing to the art pipeline while understanding target platform constraints.

• Acts as a final point of contact for art asset deliveries to unity pipeline.

• Meeting project deadlines/milestones as set by project leads.

• Raise the bar for the project by demanding high results from self and team members

• Can work to specification and to schedule in an existing pipeline, and equally work with minimal instruction if needed.

• Keep your skillset up to date and learn about new software as and when required.

• Share knowledge and recommend best practices in your area of operation.

• Encourage creativity and participation from all team members.

• Mentor and educate team members on new skills, methods and the work culture

Requirements for the candidate

• A solid background in academic drawing, sketching and/or illustration.
• Good in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and similar softwares. Open to adapting to other softwares.
• Good understanding of human anatomy, aesthetics proportion, perspective, composition, colour theory, shading, lighting and post-processing
• Strong conceptual and visual design skills leading to thoughtful creative executions
• Open-minded, able to receive feedback
• Should have good knowledge of 2D animation.
• Should be familiar with Unity workflow
• Knowledge of 3D softwares is a plus
• Good Communication Skills
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Positive attitude and a genuine team player
• Passion for video games and knowledge of different game genres across all platforms
• 8 yrs of industry experience
